CASHLESS is on the rise everywhere and the UK is no exception. Sacoa, one of the leading suppliers of cashless technology to the amusements industry, has supplied some of the biggest locations in the UK in recent times.
lt has transformed the payments options of Mulligans in Hemel Hempstead and the FunBox Arcades at both Gravity Max Westfield Mall and Liverpool One.
The company has a strong partnership with Sega Amusements lnternational, and its parts and services division, Sega Total Solutions, which has seen it enter into a distribution agreement across the EMEA region.
The deal will allow both companies to reach a wider base of operators and locations, as well as benefit both parties from the knowledge that they have both gained over many years. It also means Sega Total Solutions will be Sacoa's exclusive distributor in the UK.
At the ACOS show at The ILEC Conference Centre in Earls Court, London, later this month, visitors will be able to interact first-hand with the company's hardware, including the multi-award winning K4 Kiosk and more.
The K4 Kiosk allows users to buy, recharge and analyse the play card in one place, simplifying customers' decisions by offering preselected promotional packages. A secondary top screen is available to promote marketing actions and is ADA compliant and offers multiple languages.
The benefits of such a kiosk are huge for both the guest and the operator. It can help reduce lines at the centre, increase sales, reduce labour- related costs and decrease theft.
K4 Kiosk has been recognised across the industry, most recently taking home the Breakthrough Product of the Year Award at lnternational Adventure and Trampoline Park Association 2024 Conference and Trade Show, as well as the New Product Showcase Award at lnternational Bowl Expo 2024 and being recognised at lAAPA Expo.
Sebastian Mochkovsky, CEO of Sacoa USA, expressed his delight at the K4 Kiosk being honoured, saying: "We are thrilled that our K4 Kiosk has once again been recognised. We believe this honour highlights the sentiments of our customers that have benefited greatly from their K4 Kiosks."
Another Sacoa innovation that will be on show at ACOS is KwikPay. Originally launched at 2023's lAAPA Expo Europe in Vienna, Austria, it is a payment solution designed for operators with small or route-based operations. The technology transforms how customers interact with all types of coin-operated machines, offering a seamless and modern payment experience.
KwikPay is designed to enhance the customer experience by simplifying the payment process for arcade games, amusement rides, vending machines and all types of coin- operated machines.
Customers using KiwkPay can pay by scanning a QR code on the machine with their mobile device, eliminating the need for coins, tokens or physical bank cards. The convenient solution gives operators increased control and revenue- generating possibilities by offering functionality like discounted games, loyalty programmes, rewards and more, fostering customer engagement and repeat visits.
By reducing the number of cash transactions, an operator can also significantly reduce the need for maintenance and the risk of theft, allowing for decreased operating costs for business owners.
Mochkovsky added: "KwikPay is an exciting new development for us at Sacoa. With our long history of innovation and a deep understanding of the amusement industry, we're confident that KwikPay will provide new partners with a powerful tool to enhance their operations and offer their customers a seamless, modern payment experience."
